In my group we all investigated the stakeholders for fast fashion. However, we came to the consensus that evaluating fast fashion's effect on the environment would be best for the proposal and the documentary. This is something I have a lot of research on since I had the environmentalist stakeholder. Something important to consider when doing the environmental side of this issue is the feasibility of a call to action. My group needs to keep in mind that as 3 freshman in college we don't really have much sway in what we say. Therefore, we should probably try to look into local organizations with similar ideas to improving the environment as a way to create a plan to make a change. Other than this, the objectives for our documentary should also aim to educate the class/public about the issue of fast fashion. That way, even if there isn't anything tangible we can do as 3 group members, we are introducing the class to the issue so they can be mindful in their purchases as well as thinking of ways to make an impact on this problem. The research we have collected so far is obviously some research I've done on the environmental impact fast fashion. It has shown that fast fashion's pollution contributes to about 10% of total environmental pollution. Along with this, my other team members have researched the inequality in pay for workers in the fast fashion industry. Finally, the other group member has research on how the consumers view fast fashion and not only this, but how they consume it.
